This programme is supported by the Dutch government through a consortium of three
Global South and two Global North organizations. The organizations driving the programme
are PPHPZ\/Slum Dwellers International, WWF, Hivos, SSN, and Akina Mama wa Afrika.
PPHPZ is implementing the programme in Lusaka, Chongwe, and Kafue.

The programme aims to amplify grassroots voices and highlight climate action that is often
overlooked and underappreciated. It seeks to co-create climate solutions with local actors
and package these solutions for potential scaling. Developing bankable projects is intended
to enhance the viability of local climate action and attract climate financing.

SDI\/PPHPZ promotes community-led approaches and strengthens rural-urban linkages
within the programme. The ultimate goal is to ensure that diverse civil societies are
