class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">People\u2019s Process on Housing and Poverty in Zambia (PPHPZ) is a local non-governmental\norganization that was founded in 2005 to support Zambia Homeless and Poor People\u2019s Federation\n(ZHPPF) and other organized grassroots groups working towards building community resilience\nthrough community-led approaches. PPHPZ\u2019s mission is to empower low-income communities,\nparticularly the urban and rural poor, to take charge in addressing the challenges of poverty and\nhomelessness. To date, PPHPZ has supported 650 households with low-cost housing, 6500 with basic\nservices such as water and sanitation and 5 districts with green infrastructure.\nAs an affiliate member of Slum Dwellers International (SDI), a global network of community-based\nfederations, PPHPZ works within an international framework that emphasizes grassroots leadership\nand collective action to fight poverty and homelessness.
